Another Challenge: Comment Challenge 2010

This is a blog-reading rather than a book reading challenge. Motherreader and Lee Wind are hosting a community-building challenge of commenting on five book blogs a day for three weeks. At the end of that, we will have achieved world peace, or at least reading lists long enough to reach the moon.

I've always wanted to go to the moon.

I will also attempt to get five comments somewhere on my blog each week. Since even my mother never bothers to comment, this is not as easy as it may seem. I may have to bribe my sister with chocolate.

Ah but it's for whirled peas so I'll comment for you. I'm not sure I can take another challenge but sounds interesting...

Hi! I'm doing Mother Reader's Comment Challenge, too. Your blog was the first one I clicked on, because I liked the name best! Why "Library Chicken"? I'll look around your blog and see if you tell the answer. I'm Sondy Eklund, from www.sonderbooks.com. I'm a Youth Services Librarian and love writing book reviews. And reading them. Your blog looks good!

My mom never comments either! Time for me to browse around your coop for awhile.

Hmm, I guess I never explained my blog name, or why it's Library Chicken but libraryfrog on the URL. That's a good idea for a post.

My mom comments, but I figure that doesn't really count, does it?

You are right...I will comment for chocolate!
Make sure I get the proper credit for introducing you to the chicken/frog concept :) It is possibly one of the best things I got out of college.

I love this challenge. Can I live up to it? Oh, and it's good to know that I've got your brothers beat out on commenting on your blog. Makes me feel part of the family. ;-)

I'm doing the comment challenge too--such a great way to find new blogs. Hope you're enjoying it!
