Eight!

48 Hour Book ChallengeI finally finished Ursula K. Le Guin's Powers (Annals of the Western Shore), which I started months ago. Go me! And nothing horrific happened at the end, which I was totally predicting. I think I'm much too pessimistic about books I'm enjoying; if I start liking the characters I drag my feet if I think something awful is in store.

X only read 30 minutes more. We got an email that the next Alex Rider was waiting for us at the library, so he planned to read that next, but I drove there too late (making him read to me as I drove so I wouldn't lose minutes). Now he's sad and says he can't read anything else and has taken advantage of my book-bound state to find Digimon on the internet.

P hurt his knee, but should recover in time to go to the baseball game. X will babysit N for ice cream. And books. Cages for tomorrow all set!

I'm at 16.75 hours, X thinks he's at 6 but I'll have to dig back to check.

I've not read much of Ursula K. Le Guin's stuff, which seems shocking, doesn't it? Probably should at some point.
