Monday Again! And I'm Still Reading

Again I'm checking in on the Monday status call, where we look at what got read and some people plan what they will read.  I'm doing good to know what I read, though this week it wasn't much. This meme is hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

Books I completed:
  • The Cow Loves Cookies, Karma Wilson
  • Ants (National Geographic Readers), Melissa Stewart
  • The Half-Life of Planets, Emily Franklin
  • Clementine, Friend of the Week, Sara Pennypacker
  • Bones,  Steve Jenkins
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Panel-to-Panel
I don't usually mention picture books, but Ants, Bones, and Cow Loves Cookies are all for the Cybils challenge, so I'm tracking them.  Also, they were great books.  I'm very behind on posting reviews since our vacation hotel had no internet, despite their claims.  Humph.  And my feet were far too sore from rushing back to Space Mountain again to put in the extra steps to the lobby computers.
  • Eli the Good, by Silas House (ARC I got in the mail, so top of my TBR pile)
  • Working Words, by M.L. Liebler (for Wisconsin challenge) (finished the poetry, now on the short fiction section)
  • The House of the Stag, Kage Baker.  I really like her fantasy; maybe I should try her SF again.
  • Guardian of the Dead, Karen Healey (for Cybils challenge, moved back down because it renewed)
  • Territory, Emma Bull (vacation book)
  • Hammered, Elizabeth Bear (vacation book)
  • Bad Prince Charlie, John Moore (vacation book)
  • Interior Life, Katherine Blake (vacation book)
  • Glass Harmonica, Louise Marley (vacation book)
  • The Rogue's Return, Jo Beverly (vacation book)
  • The Hob's Bargain, Patricia Briggs (vacation book)
  • Flying Solo Ralph Fletcher (borrowed by a kid, now returned)
  • The Privilege of the Sword Ellen Kusher. (I'm scared about what will happen, so I'm reading very slowly)
I actually have bookmarks in a few other books, but I'm not actively reading them.  Mainly I'm reading Working Words and whatever is due next at the library.  Poetry is slow for me, because I like to really hear the words and usually read things several times if I think I like it.
In other challenge news, I've read 14 Cybils books, half finished my first Michigan book, finished up the  Sci-Fi experience with seven books, brought home some books for Take a Chance and 20/11, and checked off a total of seven states for Where Am I Reading.  What's in a Name continues to mock me.
